Don’t Let Fear Or Procrastination Steal Your Dreams!

by Cameron
in Blog
Hey Rockstar! You know, I've worked with, for, and around a whole lot of people over both my online and real world careers. And I've seen so many people that had everything you think you might need to guarantee success and yet they fail or never achieve the heights everyone would expect them to. And then you have the other side of the coin. People that are less educated, far less fortunate, poor finances, bad upbringing or just simply not qualified for what they want to do. And yet...they succeed! They achieve their goals and create lives that are the envy [...]

Trump Said What?!

by Cameron
in Blog
Today my thoughts are those of complete bewilderment and astonishment regarding some alleged comments by Donald Trump in the wake of  the terrible Orlando Massacre tragedy. Now please understand that this post comes from a country outside of the USA and I may or may not have all the information but the comment I have real problems with is where he said that: 'If we had people, where the bullets were going in the opposite direction, right smack between the eyes of this maniac...' he said, pointing between his own eyes, and pausing for cheers and applause. '...And this son [...]

And let's start off by confirming the obvious... Firstly - We are ALL incredibly busy these days aren't we!!! Time To Prove Them All Wrong!

by Cameron
in Blog
This simple photo represents so much for me right now across multiple channels of my life! I have allowed myself to be negatively affected by many people and their opinions on the way I do things and the ideals, routines, standards and general rules I live my life by! Haters...doubters...naysayers...mockers...laughers...whatever you want to call them...why do we give them so much power??? I've always agreed with the old saying about negative people. And that is that "It is far easier for someone to drag you down rather than reach up to your level." So you may be trying something different [...]

Stressing Out About The Walking Dead Season 6 Finale!

by Cameron
in Blog
Hey guys! If you too are a fan of The Walking Dead then you probably will also be a little bit apprehensive, scared, nervous, anxious (or all of the above!) about the season finale in just a few short weeks! Now take note, I am not going to talk about anything that can't be found being discussed all over Facebook or the web in general however I am about to discuss a few of the more common theories about what will happen by seasons end... Firstly, I am very concerned about the continued character evolution of Carol. Many would argue [...]

Choose To Be Better, Not Bitter!

by Cameron
in Blog
Hey guys, just a short one today...do you have any difficulties, challenges or obstacles in your life? Surely not I hear you say! Lol, like everyone, we ALL have some sort of challenge in our life. No matter how big or how small, these challenges are actually designed to improve us or shake us up or push us in the right direction! But guys, it is oh so very easy to assign blame or fault to others and as a result become quite bitter for the challenges you face. Someone else is luckier, or they got the break or just [...]

Never Give Up, You’re Probably Closer Than You Think!

by Cameron
in Blog
You know what guys? Nothing worthwhile or satisfying or fulfilling or amazing or more importantly, positively life changing ever comes easily or quickly. Sure, there might be a few exceptions here and there but after you take out lottery wins, lol, most of our success comes from a lot of hard and or, smart work over time. Sometimes a long time! But always remember, bit by bit and piece by piece, we work hard, we plan, we fail, we celebrate, we sacrifice, we learn until we finally achieve our goals...and then after a short period of pride and satisfaction...we set ourselves [...]

Working Hard Or Hoping For A Miracle?

by Cameron
in Blog
So another day is coming to an end...it's now 11:40pm as I start to write this post and am chastising myself a little for perhaps not achieving all I had hoped for today. Yes indeed, I have suffered a bit today from the good old procrastination! I had many things planned to work on my business today, well, this evening and I did actually get a few of them done however I did waste some time on other things. Checking affiliate sales, viewing statistics, mindless googling, checking traffic, reviewing my offers and the list goes on. All it amounted to [...]

Your Thoughts Can Change Your Life! You know guys, I have made a major shift in my thinking and attitude and I'm all about the positive lately. In fact, I have been for a while now, and also really trying hard to focus on the magic that is the law of attraction. As this photo displays so well, if we focus on the beautiful, wonderful, amazing things in life, regardless of whether we have them yet [...]

3 Step Formula Update

by Cameron
Ok peeps, as promised in my original post on here about the "3 Step Formula" I said that I would come back and post a few regular 3 Step Formula update on how it is all going. What I have found so far is that I am still very excited about the prospects of finally making some decent money out of this venture. And the crazy thing is that it is definitely taking me FAR LESS time than anything else I have ever done in trying to make $$$ online! Even with a quite major drama (well, it hasn't really [...]

Good To See A Few Green Tops in AUS NZ Test Series

by Cameron
in Blog
In my eyes, and as much as I dearly love my cricket, flat pitches are ruining the spectacle of Test Cricket and it has been so good to see a few green tops in the current Australia vs New Zealand Test Series! Now admittedly, this is being written by a former fast bowler however surely many people are starting to think what I'm thinking; that is that this constant barrage of flat and barren pitches, even on day one of a test match is simply unacceptable when it comes to producing the best version of the age old contest between [...]

No Excuse For Violence Against Our Paramedics!

by Cameron
in Blog
And yet again, we have sadly had another night of violence against those who deserve it least - our emergency services and paramedics! Last night here in our very own backyard, we had not one, not two but three disgraceful physical assaults on our paramedics inflicted by the very people they were trying to help! On each occasion, our hard working emergency services team members were called to assist as per normal, when at some time in the process, and for one reason or another, their "patient" flipped out and lashed out at them resulting in trauma and injury. This [...]

In The End It Has To Be ALL YOU!

by Cameron
in Blog
Today's short and sweet message is one of simplicity and honesty about getting what you want and more importantly - who's responsible! I must admit that I was feeling a bit down and sorry for myself earlier today. The subject doesn't matter but for a quick moment I allowed myself to be almost angry at someone else because I wasn't where I wanted to be. I didn't think that they had truly supported me when I needed them the most and also that I thought they hadn't dome enough for me. Especially as they were a support person. Luckily enough, [...]

Talent Doesn’t Mean Likeability!

by Cameron
in Blog
When it comes to sport, just because you are talented, and even extremely talented, does not mean that people will like you. Humility, modesty and the ability to remain level and grounded are qualities that are far too often missing from our sports stars and here in Australia...well we don't like that one bit! However, people can always turn that around! I have just finished watching a tennis match featuring Bernard Tomic in the Brisbane International. Now for a long time, myself, like many other Aussies, have thought that Tomic was an absolute douchebag especially considering the way he has [...]

Sign Of The Times Or Too Much?

by Cameron
in Blog
So today, I have yet another news story that I feel is from the ridiculous files again however some may feel that the complaining father was actually in the right! The story I am referring to comes out of North Carolina where parent Kevin Payne took issue with the fact that his 10 year old daughter Vendela was given a full "pat-down" at airport security after some airport infringements were discovered. They being a box of juice, a mobile phone alarm going off in her luggage as well as a false positive on the explosives swab. Kevin was very upset [...]

So Much Tragedy In 1 Week!

by Cameron
in Blog
Just wanted to quickly comment on some terrible tragedies that have occured right here in Australia in the last 7 days or so. It's just so very sad that there is so much violence happening lately and not just violence but EXTREME violence! In the last 7 days we have had a young man of only 18 killed just as his life was beginning by way of a "Coward Punch." An unprovoked random attack with one punch from an unknown assailant doing enough damage to end this poor boys life. We have also had a father suffering mental illness give [...]

The selfishness of drug users

by Cameron
in Blog
Short but angry gripe here... Why oh why do drug users think they can just shoot up and not worry about the mess they create? In a world where we have so much available to help support these people and their habit I had to go and clean up the remain of a session in the public toilets where I work. There on the floor across two cubicles was three used syringes with blood in and on them. Two rags that had been used to tie up their arm, also bloodied. And to top it off there was also wads [...]

The Budget Is Hardly Fair…

by Cameron
in Blog
So here's just a little bit of a political rant from me which I really don't go into very often... Just a few short days out from our first Federal Government budget from the relatively recently elected Abbot regime it seems as though the whole nation is stressed, concerned and worried about the major cuts, tax hikes and additional charges about to take effect...some instantly...some many years off into the future. I understand that something drastic needs to be done and I also think that for the most part, people agree that there needs to be some tightening of the [...]

Another School Attack in USA

by Cameron
in Blog
So I see on today's news that sadly there has been yet another kid go nuts at an American school. This time, an apparently "quiet kind of kid that kept to himself" as per the usual stereotype and comments about them, decided to take not one but two 25 cm knives to school this morning. He then proceeded to violently and indiscriminately stab random people with an injury count of nearly 20 I believe. Thankfully there were no fatalities this time but what the hell is going on over there? Is it a case of "only happens in America" or [...]

Disgraceful Schoolgirl Bullying Attack

by Cameron
in Blog
Today I would like to discuss a topic that is really doing the rounds currently, lighting up social media and forums right across the internet but also very easily digressing from the issue at hand to the more broader problems associated with it. The original issue is the disgraceful bullying including an incredibly physical attack on a 14 year old school girl in Rockhampton, Qld. => Check out the article here if you are unaware of this story <=  There are a huge number of topics to discuss here however let's just cut to basics... Firstly and probably most important...what [...]

The Right To Fly The Flag

by Cameron
in Blog
Today is a bit of a controversial one...but in saying that it shouldn't actually be controversial at all! Because in my eyes the topic is so ludicrous however it has been annoying me for days so thought I would get it off my chest and see what everyone else thinks. Basically the gist of it is this. Recently here in Brisbane, a story has made the news whereby a war veteran applied through the usual practices for the right to build a flagpole and fly the Australian flag in his Housing Commission home's yard. You would think this is a [...]

Inappropriate or OK?

by Cameron
in Blog
So I guess that I just wanted to start this whole blog off with a quick and easy one that shouldn't cause too many sagas! While having an awesome day at the local Wet and Wild water park, I was talking to my oldest boy who is currently in grade five. He said they had a relief teacher yesterday who was wearing FCUK branded prescription glasses. They were all talking about it and how much it looked like the F-word. Now I definitely understand that is a very recognised and popular brand however especially when teaching young children, do you [...]

Hey there and thanks for dropping by my site! CameronAbel.net is my own personal blog where I like to not only share what I'm doing but I guess more importantly, I want to share and discuss life through my eyes. Things up for discussion could be anything from news of the day, popular issues, movies, music and TV and little bits here and there that I find interesting and worth talking about. Oh and also there could be some controversial subjects too! But overall, I want to get people talking and find out if how I see the world is [...]

Great Day Out!

by Cameron
in Blog
Had an awesome day out with the family at our local Wet And Wild water park! Day was absolutely perfect at a gorgeous 28 degrees and despite what looked like a packed car park...the park was pretty quiet compared to the last few times we went. Lines were super short and towards the end of the day there was actually no wait for rides at all! Brilliant!  Very proud of my wife, Jane who faced her fears (not that there should have been any anyway - they're only water slides!) and went on heaps of different rides. Funnily enough, she [...]
